Cheap, universal recovery strap from AliExpress (or eBay - I don't remember).
I needed longer bolts because after installing the strap brackets, the stock bolts were too short. I used grade 8.8, the same as stock. Then torqued to 30NM as per the factory manual.
I like torque tamper paint. Makes the visual checks nice and simple. It also comes off really easily (that how you can see if the bolt has moved). But it holds on well enough it's not going to come off rubbing past a bush.
On both sides.
Installed.
This should work ok if needed. I haven't installed one on the back of the bike as I have a rack permanently installed, so that should be fine for pushing and pulling on.
