[Ducati M620ie] Project Intro

This is my 2004 Ducati M620ie. I got SMIDSY'd (Sorry Mate I Didn't See You) on this bike and panic braked (it was only shortly after I had passed my test - my fault, but only so far as it takes two to have an accident). I didn't hit anything, but I did drop the bike. Thankfully it was at a pretty slow speed drop (near walking pace) as I had almost stopped when they pulled out on me.

I did manage to bend the gear lever, scratch the left wing mirror, scratch the clutch lever, and stuff up the left crash bung. So those all need replacing. The bike has also been sat in the garage for a long time waiting for me to get around to it, so it's due belts now as well.

I have the gear lever. I went for an after market CNC milled billet aluminium one, since it was significantly cheaper than OEM.

I couldn't find a single crash bung for sale, so I bought a new pair.

I also bought the roller and tensioner kit for when I get round to doing the belts. I didn't buy the belts, as they would have most likely expired before I got round to fitting them.

Whilst I was on eBay, I also snagged a clutch cover. My current one looks like it's been hand painted with a brush. I would like to repaint it, but I bought another one (in a similar condition) so I can take my time (without leaving the side of the engine open to the elements). It was cheap.... ish.
